Equitable Access

The Long Beach College Promise was created to help provide students more equitable access to a college education. By presenting ongoing opportunities to collect college credit, two years of free tuition at LBCC, local preference admission to CSULB, and regular academic and career support, the LBCP has a proven commitment to helping LBUSD students thrive in whatever path they choose.

An Education Within Reach

Finances are often at the forefront of the conversation when contemplating which path is right for you. Fortunately, with the Long Beach College Promise, taking the next step in earning your degree doesn’t have to be an expensive pursuit.

Resources

Regardless of where you are in your journey, there are plenty of resources available to help you gain additional financial support.

The Promise has allowed me to achieve my career goal in fashion and design. Since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of the big life in college and taking on what I felt passionate about, and I can’t wait to continue to experience what the LBCC has to offer for me and my journey into the fashion industry world.
