Equitable Access

The Long Beach College Promise was created to help provide students more equitable access to a college education. By presenting ongoing opportunities to collect college credit, two years of free tuition at LBCC, local preference admission to CSULB, and regular academic and career support, the LBCP has a proven commitment to helping LBUSD students thrive in whatever path they choose.

An Education Within Reach

Finances are often at the forefront of the conversation when contemplating which path is right for you. Fortunately, with the Long Beach College Promise, taking the next step in earning your degree doesn’t have to be an expensive pursuit.

Resources

Regardless of where you are in your journey, there are plenty of resources available to help you gain additional financial support.

The Long Beach College Promise (LBCP) has allowed me to study my major and learn what I would like to do. I have been able to get very close to getting my associate's degree, thanks to it. By having the Long Beach College Promise as a resource, I have made a lot of big steps toward my plans.
